A Strong Foundation in Science and Patient Care
Dr. Davila earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Baylor University before obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of the Incarnate Word School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Texas Institute for Graduate Medical Education & Research in San Antonio. He also holds professional certifications as a Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) and Certified Sports Nutritionist (CISSN), allowing him to design individualized exercise, nutrition, and supplementation plans grounded in evidence-based science.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Davila has served in numerous leadership and advisory roles, including:
- Medical Advisor – International Society of Sports Nutrition
- Scientific Advisory Board Member – National Academy of Sports Medicine
- President-Elect – Texas Chapter, American College of Sports Medicine
He has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and official position statements covering exercise prescription, nutrition strategies, supplementation, and human performance optimization. Dr. Davila is also a frequent guest on health and fitness podcasts, sharing insights on fat loss, muscle building, metabolic health, and longevity.
